For almost four decades, Candace and Rogers Badgett have been dedicated to sharing the healing knowledge of authentic Maharishi Ayurveda. Under the direct guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Maharishi’s Ayurveda Council, they were among those who pioneered the use of Ayurvedic medicine in North America, building and overseeing the administration of The Raj Ayurveda Health Center, located on 100 acres of woodlands and meadows near Fairfield, Iowa.
The Raj is the first in-residence Panchakarma facility designed in accord with Ayurveda building principles. The Raj offers traditional, authentic Ayurveda Panchakarma therapies that are both curative and prevention-oriented, along with guidance for maintaining health through Ayurveda herbal formulations and personalized lifestyle recommendations.
Through their leadership, The Raj has become a pioneering center for Ayurveda in North America, known for preserving the depth, purity, and individualized approach of this ancient system of natural healthcare.
